Description
This intensive 9-week skills accelerator course will cover a significant amount of content related to Digital Data. Including data management, analysis, visualisation, compliance and strategy.
Additional coaching support will be given to participants to ensure that you are ready to apply for that next opportunity, including upgrading your CV to reflect the knowledge you have learned and the skills and behaviours you have developed.

Who is this course aimed at?
This course is aimed at anyone who wants to develop an existing, or new, career in Digital Data Management.
Entry requirements
If you are keen to develop your career or understand more about Digital Cloud Management, then this is the course for you. No prior qualifications are required.
Before you enrol
You may be asked to complete an informal assessment to ensure you can achieve at this level.
Aims and Objectives
This course will cover the following topics:
1: Introduction to Digital Data Management
2: Understanding Data Collection and Storage
3: Data Analysis and Visualization
4: Data Governance and Compliance
5: Data Management Strategy and Implementation
Learning and teaching will take place using a variety of seminars, classroom discussion, practical investigation and peer to peer conversations. Expect to get involved from the very start and learn collaboratively and quickly.
Assessment will be undertaken through the creation of a portfolio of work, classroom activity, peer to peer working and completion of a series of short creative tasks. All of which will help you to develop key skills in written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
How will the course be delivered?
This is a practical course and the sessions will include tutor-led demonstrations, learner-led group activities, instruction and repetition. These will form part of the delivery together with one-to-one support as required.
Will I need to study or practise outside the classroom?
There will be formal assignments which may include essays, research, reading or preparing presentations.
How will I know I am making progress?
During the first session, your tutor will discuss your goals and current level in relation to the course. Based on this assessment, you will agree individual targets which you will record in your individual learning plan (ILP). You and your tutor will review your targets regularly to ensure that you are making progress; these will be written in your individual learning plan.
What will I need for the course?
Please bring a pen, notepad and a file for your hand-outs. Access to a pc outside the classroom is essential for completing classroom projects.
